A Beautiful Sunset

A beautiful sunset on the water is a thing to behold. Watching the sun set on the water for us is often a family event, but it can be done alone or with friends too. Sometimes there have been several generations of extended family watching together with grandparents, grandchildren, cousins, 2nd cousins, aunts, uncles, great-aunts and uncles and friends too. Sometimes people bring dessert or we play cards. There have been funeral memorials there too.
Whether it is from shore, or from a planned excursion to the middle of a body of water just to go watch the sun set, it is rare to be disappointed by a visible sunset on the water in any season. There are no two sunsets alike, and every minute of each sunset is unique. Each sunset has its own kaleidoscope of beautiful colours, and any clouds or wild life or lack thereof add to the essence. Different seasons produce different results for different reasons.
Outdoors in nature in the wilderness there is a sense of just you and the Universe. Particularly in wide open spaces or from the middle of a body of water, it is as if the Universe in all its expansive glory is painting a full motion 4Dx surround sound picture that contains a special message made just for you. If you take the time to be one with the Universe while the sun sets, watching the Universe do its thing can be educational and fully captivating.
